For the past few days, I really haven't been able to find the time to read. This isn't fully true, of course. For one, I've definitely had time, I just chose to do other things, such as watch a few YT videos. However, I usually watch these YT videos! Malissa and Phoebe, namely. I like these creators, so I watch them. Still, I usually have time to read regardless. I've just been talking so much, moving so much, doing so much stuff, it's eating away at my reading time. My book isn't boring, though it is definitely a little wack. I'm looking forward to reading it, I want to read it, but it seems every time I start I get pulled away with some random thing. Or commitment. Movies, hang outs, shows, whatever... It's frustrating. I enjoy what I'm doing, but I wish I was reading, nevertheless. I suppose this is a problem I tend to have. Or, it's not really a problem; I'm not sure. I want to read, and I feel like the things I do instead of reading aren't really worth my time. I've enjoyed a lot of the things I've been doing (not today, particularly), but I do feel like I could've been reading instead and enjoyed myself all the same. Well, I suppose the time I spend with my friend is great in different ways that make it as enjoyable as doing anything else, including reading. She's great. But most all the other conversations feel so... Mindless. It's like I feel compelled to be "normal" and engage, even though I don't really want to. Anyway, I wore jeans, today. Tomorrow I shall again. And the day after too. Tomorrow I hope to have lunch with my coworkers, as a farewell to my job. Let's see how that goes. |
