The personalized release calendar improved exposure of many games. Makes sense that they also want to capitalize on it and move to a personalized discount program. Though I hope it doesn’t mean dynamic pricing. Would suck for people who buy games at full price to never get a discount.

It doesn't read that way. Seems to just be which current sales are shown front and center rather than manually setting them by promotional deals or otherwise.
