I dont know about today's bolts, but the originals were just zev credits/learning vehicles. They never actually made a profit.

Fucking hate crossovers. Buy a car or buy an SUV if you have real need for one, nobody NEEDS a crossover, they're ugly, they cost more (to buy, not to build) and they don't go off road any better than regular cars.

Of course, margins are also destroyed by doing a limited run instead of making use of the tooling you've set up to build as many as you can sell... So this is quite idiotic. It wouldn't eat into the Silverado or Escalade markets, those have completely different target audiences. At most it would compete with something like the Trax in their lineup.
