Its like the USSR beating the US to a bunch of milestones in the space race, but the US beats them to the moon and immediately say they won.

The geopolitics are not about nudify and ai girlfriend race. It's not even about productivity benefits for AI customers, just like energy and transportation from China availability would permit, as those depend on having the most choice/value options. It's only about surveillance and weapons/military.
