I just posted this to a Garfield friendly group on Facebook in the hopes that someone would explain it to me. And if you know who I am, then you know I know orange cat related things. Yet this makes no sense at all to me. |

It just depends on you being familiar with the term "bible belt" which is a way of describing that most of the American south is very religious. It takes that idea and extrapolates the existance of several sillier "belts". |

The belts, other than the Bible belt are made up. Garfield, People Magazine (which I assume that abrev is for...this might not be clear to some) and 17th century French drama are real... |
