Chloe Renae Freeman has been charged with one count of instigating or assisting escape, a misdemeanor that carries up to one year in prison. She has pleaded not guilty. Her next court date is Oct. 20.

Freeman made her initial court appearance in Detroit on Tuesday and was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

One year to possibly save a life seems like a worthy sacrifice. If the jury decides she's guilty - and they shouldn't regardless of whether she did what they claim she's done.

Now that she's about to get incarcerated for 1 year, she probably doesn't.

Is there any gofundme to support her? She needs a good damn lawyer ASAP. If children killing woman gets multiple millions through crowd funding, why can't this hero get some too?
