Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)

Konnu is a peer to peer full-text search engine written in Rust.

Konnu indexes documents and stores them in a peer-to-peer network, making them searchable without requiring a server.

Fundamentally, Konnu is built around two ideas:.

Any text can be represented as a dense vector.
A vector can be encoded into one or more hashes which can be published into a DHT.

This makes it possible to search the network for data.
