I got my flu, covid, and shingles vaccines yesterday. So now my arms hurt. Still better than getting any of those three.

I've been reverse engineering my cloudnine keyboard, and almost have the gui complete. Soon I will not have to deal with the fucking key next to control putting my keyboard into rave mode every time I'm a little off.

I think I'm going to do my huge trackball mouse next, then see about building my own from scratch.

I quite like my Ploopy trackball if you wanted an open source starting point with a moding big community for your next project.

I just registered my own business so I can avoid my work's return to office policy!

Next I get to set up my work servers using my new-to-me rugged laptop!

It rained yesterday so it was good we didn't put out the mattress so it wouldn't get soggy for the garbage people! See, smart.

I've realized I don't know how to make a community so I decided to just spam my Dressmaker dresses on my mastodon. Which is this username but at mastodon social. I know with the...threadiverse(??) I don't need multiple accounts, and yet. I have them.

Also I use mastodon on the computer but generally lemmy is just the phone. So getting screenshots into here is annoying lol.

Heading to an auction, same as I do every Saturday. :-)

Last week I did get an old eMachines computer from about 2000 for a pretty good price, so I'm happy as can be.

My wife is out of town for a Halloween renfaire and my daughter was at her grandma's house picking pumpkins, so I got a game of Trench Crusade in with my buddy. I lost by one point instead of the usual 10+, so I must be getting my new army (Sultanate alchemists) dialed in better. Got lunch, griped back and forth about our respective jobs, and had a pretty good time overall. It's hard socializing regularly and I think I needed it.

Picked up my daughter this afternoon, went to the Scottish Restaurant*, and now she's hidden Fart Ninjas all over the house. So it's definitely lively over here.

*what we used to call lMcDonald's when she was tiny and would throw a tantrum if we mentioned it without going, with a hat tip to The Scottish Play.
