I don’t like going to Muslim marriage subs or discussions anymore because they’re very obsessed with past. So many posts about it.

I understand if you’ve never done anything that you want someone who is similar, I agree you should do that, but their attitudes towards people who have made a mistake and repented…it’s like they are damaged goods unfit for marriage. I even read someone saying “they are disgusting animals they will never make a good spouse”. Like just be thankful you were never tested with it because life can humble you…

It’s so toxic and unislamic on top of that. Allah does not say in the Quran anywhere that someone who made mistakes in their past should never get married.
