"Burning down a high school does not improve the state of high school buildings. Lynching a teacher does not help replace teachers," Lecornu has told the National Assembly, adding that it was a "lie" to suggest the government had ordered "police repression" against demonstrators.

Have any teachers been lynched?

Because a student has definitely had their hand blown off by the police throwing grenades at children. That sounds an awful lot like police repression to me, and lies from the government.

I'm not sure if there was a lynching. Some teachers did get roughed up at one school. The place a professor was splashed with petrol. But, the professor did say it was just a few drops or something like that.

We have a kid who lost an eye, another that can't speak, another had their head held underwater, someone got a rough chokehold, at least one accusation of SA while in a holding cell, and an overall heavier hand than during the Yellow Vest Strikes or Justice for Nahel strikes.
