Anyone have a tutorial on how to unlock a carrier locked s20? I read you can make it happen with some kind of modified usb-c and some sort of special program. |

AFAIK S20 is not supported by any Linux at the moment |

It shouldn't be carrier locked. Unlocked phones have been the law in Canada since 2017. I know some carriers lock them for 60 days after purchase but the CRTC is in court with them now. If you take it to a store and ask, they will unlock. |

Unless they're referring to the boatloader which I assume is not regulated the same way it isn't in the U.S. Any phone bought through Verizon cannot have its bootloader unlocked. |
