Post screenshot: "Do mice perceive rats more like elves, or ogres? Do rats consider mice more like gnomes, or goblins?". Reply: "Rats are EIf mice. Mice are rat Hobbits. Hamsters are rat and mouse goblins; shrews are gnomes and moles are dwarves. Guinea pigs are trolls and naked mole rats are goblins. Ferrets are dragonborn. Rabbits are orcs. Hope this helps"

Surely rats would be the human analogue in this scenario, and fancy rats would be elves?

Now, someone do this Lord of the Rings remake.

The Silmousillion.

Guineadalf piloting Frodo (hobbits are capybara) ratatouille-style to carry the ring.

Of all forest animals, the cutest fluffiest prey creature is the orc?

And don't say they were sticking to rodents

They're all very cute! I was actually thinking rabbits are quite a bit bigger than rats, I wasn't sure orcs were big enough...

I'd go with like....skunk because orcs stink. Raccoon or badger for size

I got to meet Brian when I was 7. I don't have loads of super clear memories of that period of my life, but I remember every second of our very short conversation. Still have a map of Redwall with his signature and a short message somewhere. I shed a lot of the stuff from my childhood but I'd never get rid of that.

I like this a lot better. I’m going to start telling people I have the two cutest elves at home 💚

Read through much of these with my son as he was growing up, and they’re fairly formulaic BUT in a way that feels fresh each time.

Such good books. Netflix had the rights to make shows … but here we are a decade later with nothing.

Mr. Bunnys even has Martin and Matthias and Queen Warbeak as some of our faves

yeah rats are 100% human, we're both basically defined by our sociality and can step off a boat on a random island and it'll have a population of 10'000 by the end of the decade
