This last month, we've been working on Oauth fixes, various security fixes in the lemmy back-end, and a few front end fixes. We've also been working on Jerboa (our android app), to get it compatible with the new 1.0 API.

We're still readying the 1.0 release, which you can keep track of by watching the milestones below:

• https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/milestone/5

Here are all the changes from September:

An open source project the size of Lemmy needs constant work to manage the project, implement new features and fix bugs. Dessalines and Nutomic work full-time on these tasks and more. As there is no advertising or tracking, all of our work is funded through donations. Even so there is barely enough time in the day, and no time for a second job. The only available option are user donations.

To keep it viable donations need to reach a minimum of 5000€ per month, resulting in a modest salary of 2500€ per developer. If that goal is reached we can stop worrying about money, and fully focus on improving the software for the benefit of all users and instances. We especially rely on recurring donations to secure the long-term development and make Lemmy the best it can be.

Donate

Thank you for your work! I've been donating.

FYI, all four links under "Or see the full list of changes at the links below:" come up empty for me.

Migrated donation from patreon to liberapay. Keep it up.

Thx, fixed it. It was a date issue.

Thanks!

My automatic donations shall continue comrade.

Thanks for your work!

patreon to liberapay

do you know if liberapay has as many donators as patreon?

No clue.

But I think the most important factor is that, with Liberapay, more of the donated funds make it to the recipient (as opposed to getting slices out as processing fees and operational costs).

Thanks for providing a space for me to share my photography.

No probs
