They could save hundreds of millions by training an AI voice on his bullshit, throw in a few “Jamie, pull that ups,” sit a guest down in front of a bald furby, and nobody would know the difference.

I wonder if he'll be doing a Fight Companion ep for the livestreamed execution they have planned. This is what he helped make a reality, after all.

the biggest money drain on spotify is record labels/artists, everyone jokes they don’t pay them anything but they pay out 70% of the music pot to them (11 billion dollars in 2025)

podcasts represent a break from this, they cost nothing and ads run on them and us subscribers are still paying our monthly fee

so when we hear ads at the start of podcasts spotify keeps that money the advertiser paid and doesn’t pay the labels which helps it grow

it’s almost like music is a loss leader and podcast ad money is where the real money is
