Might be a good measure to help prevent seasonal depression. I have been unmothing my own therapy lamps today, as the outside illumination since yesterday just suddenly feels like winter...
I was originally going to post this in the depression community since that's why I did the installation, but I didn't want to waste my chance to finally post here. |

How is it attached to the monitor? |

How is it attached to the monitor? Is there a vesa adapter available you used?
That's not a monitor, it is the top of a bookshelf. It is way too bright to look at directly. PS: You can dim it and change the light temperature with an included remote. |

Ok. I was thinking about adding something similar to the top of my monitor, but the mobile desk lamp I have is not that bad also (placed it beneath the lower rim of the monitor where it just fits without obstructing screen area). |

How is that 9,600 lumens? That looks like barely more than 600 lumens. I have been obsessed with light for decades now. My own home office has four 4,000 lumen corn lights - for a total of 16,000 lumens - running at 6,000 kelvin of colour. Along with medical-grade whiter-than-white paint, that means I get insanely bright daylight-like conditions. Unless the photo is badly janked, what you have there barely rates as a 40W incandescent. A 9,600 lumen light should have so much of that light reflecting off of the ceiling that Grogu would be brightly illuminated from the reflection alone. You would have difficulty making out the darker portions of the wall where the light did not directly shine, just from the ceiling-reflected light. To put it into perspective, that light ought to be the equivalent of 6 traditional 100w light bulbs. And it is nowhere near that brightness. 960 lumens, perhaps. But not 9,600. |

It sucks how much sellers just lie by 1-2 orders of magnitude and stores just allow it. 9600 lumens doesn't even sound extreme enough for something that large to assume it's doing the same thing and yet. |

You cannot look at it directly because it is so bright. What you are seeing is the result of my phone correcting the image. |

Cameras have their own brightness controls via aperture and exposure, so you have no way of accurately judging lumens from a photo. A light meter is the only way to accurately measure brightness. |

The phone "corrected" the image. Like anytime else you take a photo intensely back lit. In reality, it's difficult to look in its direction when it is at full strength. I have 12 foot cielings and it brightly illuminates the entire room by just bouncing light off the cream walls and cieling from one corner. |

I'm interested in your corn lights, I know someone that lives in Ohio that loves lights so corn would be great |
