Make sure you have a privacy-related point which factually ties to the figure in question. Only publicly listed info on public figures may be used alongside your personal opinions, etc. Data leaks are not allowable as a public source in this case. Be aware of any non-Canadian laws which apply to you before you choose to post, please! I'll start with a real easy one: Sanjay MehrotraCEO of Micron Technology
Photos are public headshots from 2026 SEC filing and may not be up-to-date. For example, in my opinion, Sanjay is lookin' old as hell in his Wikipedia pic. I get it, wanna look young. Position held from May 8, 2017 to at least the time of this post. It's worth understanding a little more, such as that
The executive offices location of Micron is publicly listed as
These offices can be contacted, and their publicly listed
You are able to rightfully use the the names of public figures, the executive offices location, and the executive offices telephone number to more directly express your sincere beliefs on their practices, if you'd like. If the phone number changes, remember that a mailing address is much more permanent and purpose-built. Also, mailing a letter is a lot less expensive than you might think if you choose the slowest option, and it's not hard to do, and it can be done anonymously if you fear potential persecution for legally expressing your opinions and beliefs. I mean, you've got no rush - I don't think the Micron executives feel that their business is in any kind of financial danger right now. But if you've got the spirit, maybe try it! To understand the privacy aspects you also need to understand some recent history and current realities. Please bear with me! Micron officially announced its "Exit from Crucial Consumer business" on December 3, 2025. Noting that they
Micron's Sep 30, 2026 press release reported fiscal year 2025 net income of $37.378 billion and in 2026, $133.188 billion. (millions from source converted to billions for readability) An increase of 256.327% from fiscal year '25 to' 26. Micron says, in their 2026 annual SEC filing
[Alternate source here, see same 10-K filing on 10/09/2026] But I wonder if their dependence on educated and experienced workers is ironic considering the blow to average consumers and their ability to afford memory for computers that they can own at home, and learn from, and grow from. I wonder that. In that same SEC filing they state that they
But with them being a "global leader" which "powers AI and compute intensive from cloud to edge" in the enterprise market, what are the consequences of this "collaboration"? I wonder that. The same SEC report has some interesting data regarding their Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU), such as this statement:
That same report notes that their CMBU had an increase from $13.53 billion revenue in 2025 to $43.09 billion revenue in 2026. Their other products and markets are also included in the report if you'd like to take a look. Their explicit statement on cloud demand and massive FY-26 jump in revenue in their CMBU, combined with no consumer facing business, means that under Sanjay Mehrotra's leadership - Micron has, and is, actively demonstrating that they do not have the same regard for personal computing and local ownership in comparison to their past business practices. As one of the largest DRAM manufacturers, supplying 21% of the global market share as of July 27, 2026, the decision for Micron's shift to enterprise and abandonment of the consumer market, combined with their clear investment and return in the cloud memory and AI business - well, I think that Micron Technology's CEO, Sanjay Mehrotra, is clear in his messaging of how he wants to steer the ship, so to speak. Us 'consumers' , who may be customers of Micron's enterprise customers which have clearly massively increased demand for cloud compute - have less options for our RAM needs. By the beautiful logic of supply and demand, we can see how RAM prices have skyrocketed. There is less consumer supply, costs are higher, and as a result people will find personal computing less and less affordable or attainable, forcing either the transition to cloud solutions, or an exit from the tech space altogether. The latter is not feasible in today's world where the internet is a defacto commodity. While Micron's CEO, Sanjay Mehrotra (pictured left, the very very short man next to the presumably average sized man from China, source: globaltimes.cn.), is not alone in his decisions and subsequent consequences, his leadership is undoubtedly directly responsible for a measurable decrease in the attainability of local computing, and as naturally follows, the attainability of privacy. Also, please note that the average Male height in China is 169.6 cm (5 ft 7 in) Please understand that executive decisions may fall on any of the other publicly listed and photographed executive officers, last confirmed accurate on October 9, 2026, including:
Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary Each executive officer has their own role aside from the chief executive position. As the latest earnings report from fiscal year 2026 notes, their non-public information is posted in a variety of places, all of which I am not able to nor would I attempt to access and share. The info I've listed is all public, freely available, and from direct or legal or reputable sources. Dollar amounts are in USD, matching the report. Corrections welcome. Comments also welcome. Thoughts and opinions are my own. Facts and quotes (both in full and abbreviated) come from the sources I mentioned. Fun fact: SEC filings for American companies are online and ready for you to check out! There's lots of info these companies would rather keep private, and largely relegate to legally required, long, dry, though public documents. But sometimes you learn something or verify an assumption that would never otherwise be mentioned. So, what about you guys!? |
