orange coffee pot with it's orange cups.

We had dinner with a friend at a popular Chinese restaurant last night. We had to ask for the traditional menu to get the good stuff.

Now I have to wake up enough to drive to my mom's place about an hour away. I'm picking up stuff she's getting rid of as she gets ready to move into a smaller senior apartment. Then I get to drive back. I may need coffee.

Here's my coffee pot and my decorative coffee cups that I found at an antique store.

So more of the backbackroom is cleaned. If I took a photo of it fully finished that'll take a few months because three more bulk items were hiding and that brings the total to two more months of bulk day. Bah.

If you'd like to imagine before, just coat the floor in spilled (clean) kitty litter, then fill the entire space with junk from the far back to the front so filled you can barely open the door.

Is there another door that swings outwards? Perceptive! Yes! But that's the master bedroom and also needs work.

I harvested three rather stunted luffa gourds from my community garden plot this morning. I'd like to have left them on the vine over the winter, but alas, community garden rules. They're now drying on my porch. I'm going to try growing gourds again next year, but plant them much earlier. The gourd plants took a while to get established, but once they were (at the end of summer, go figure), they were prolific. I had to toss so many tiny gourds.
