It looks like arbitrary code execution has been achieved in the original GameCube title. I'm not sure what is possible with it right now (what I've seen is essentially being able to access one of the more advanced debug menus), but the "Forbidden Four" items (essentially 4 NES games that are either impossible or very difficult to obtain: Ice Climbers, Super Mario Bros, Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda) is now possible to obtain without hacks thanks to ACE being discovered. @animal_crossing unfortunately this does sound like it was AI assisted to find the potential ACE exploit from what I'm hearing (I'm still watching the video) but that seems to unfortunately be the case with a lot of things these days...
