I really loved using it. It had a (imo) very nice UI and style.

Unfortinately, it seems like the dev (sheodox) hasn't been maintaining it. Their activity has been literally 0 since last year. Does anyone know what happened to the dev?

Is that why I've been seeing so many error messages on it lately?

That's a shame, it was my preferred frontend for Lemmy. Guess I'll have to consider switching to something else.

My instance posted maybe 2 months ago? That it wasn't being updated anymore but then I think someone commented their was a fork for it? @povoq@slrpnk.net might know. Assuming I'm not just completely misremembering.

No, sadly no active fork of Alexandrite that I could find.

We found a nice fork of the mymlm (old.) frontend though.
