I have set the IP address to the actual address of the host instead of localhost so that I can reach it from my other devices at home. But every time I try to load xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080, loading takes forever. It does work though.

Try troubleshooting with curl from a terminal.

curl -vvv xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8080

You'll see where the delay is happening and have somewhere to start digging from.

I don’t know of your specific issue but the VueTorrent UI is much faster and works perfectly on a phone screen.

I have tried vueTorrent I find it decent but I prefer FloodUI over it.
