Why is dc better than pwm?

People sensitive to PWM get headaches when looking at PWM screens. Screens which use DC dimming do not rapidly flicker the display to reduce screen brightness.

You can read more by searching the web. Just search DC dimming and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) screens or display.
