As the husband I suggest you just let it ride. He's basically already admitted fault to whatever situation. A simple "thank you, that was very nice" will let him feel like he's off the hook and everything is back to normal. Meanwhile you get a clean carpet and the knowledge that your husband wants you to be happy. |
