I hate to break it to everyone in this thread. But people have always been stupid(myself included), and bad people have always gotten away with it.

there was a plausible alternate theory and it’s innocent unless proven. better that than put an innocent in jail (or death row)

Idk maybe it was just a malfunction which they accidentally live streamed and unconsciously gave commentary.
