I'm using Boost and I was getting a lot of 404 errors, not able to access anything. I don't have any answers for you, but was experiencing outages. |

sh.itjust.works got hammered around that time by what appeared to be content scraping bots. It was bad enough to interfere with normal server use, and we had to restrict traffic temporarily while TheDude dealt with it. I'm not sure which other fedi instances were hit, or to what extent. Yandex datacenters were hit by Ukraine on the 8th and 9th, taking the russian botnet down across social networks. I imagine that probably played into it. |
