Hello! I was previously running these online courses through the Canadian school VFS' Short Circuit but have decided to focus on self-hosting my content more (in so many ways, I've been learning so much back-end these days, it's hard work to the surprise of no one) so now you can register for them through my website:

They're both aimed for beginners, live classes where we do work together, you can ask questions and get feedback in-between classes as well, limited to 7 students per group to assure no one gets left behind.
The courses are aimed at teaching the technical knowledge of using the software plus good practices so you have all the tools needed to work by yourself and improve your craft through practice and feedback.
With Blender I teach the whole generalist pipeline so students can get an understanding of areas that maybe they didn't have any idea on what they meant or they would like before starting (like rigging for example), also helpful for those that are looking to switch from Maya to Blender.

Humble bragging but previous students have told me they really enjoyed the classes ;p
I'll still be working with VFS occasionally teaching other topics, like maybe perhaps an introduction to freelancing course in a few months.

First: I'm not desperate.. When I was teaching those classes through the school a couple months ago they'd get booked full to the point I had to ask the school to give me less students because it was too many per group.
Also I'm literally just starting out. This is my first day advertising my classes, you'd know that if you bothered reading the first sentence...

Second: Two posts do not make spam, especially if they're in different communities aimed at different audiences. Blender is not just for game development, I mention that on the first paragraph of my page.

This is not my "one opportunity" on this platform, you joined one month ago and I've been here for more than a year, also have a hundred more "reputation points", comments, and posts than you. So I'm not sure where you're getting my "lack of engagement" from.
I ask again, maybe reconsider what's actually got you in such a mood and stop policing me? Maybe you read what I said but it does no good if there's no reading comprehension.

Also lmao at "cynical paywalled lesson", if you go to my website you'll see I also have plenty of free educational content that goes back years. My blender course was actually started from a blog post I made in 2021, here sugar-cup, made it easy for ya to find.

I think it sucks when people who don't actually give a crap about a community invade it with nonsense posts that exist only to push an unrelated product or service.

I think it doesn't suck when someone spends time finding communities that are genuinely connected to the thing they've spent months or years making, and make one friendly, considered, and informative post about it in the right place.

If they never tell anyone, how am I going to find out about it? If they only post in one online group, what if I'm not subscribed to that specific group?
