Police in Leicester arrested at least five journalists under the Terrorism Act while they were reporting on a protest outside a drone factory owned by an Israeli arms company.

The journalists were detained for two hours last Thursday at a UAV Tactical Systems factory owned by Elbit Systems, which makes weapons that are used in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

I, for one am delighted that my precious tax money is being spent protecting a multi billion pound arms company from scrutiny. Never mind looking after poor people, let's spend it on protecting the super rich corporate psychopaths.

Well this is definitely dystopian, but I don't think it's boring per se.

Money for nothing (and the wars for free) for the rich, crushing austerity on top of affordability crisis for the rest. Splendid! 😮‍💨

It will be once no journalists are left to report on the abuses. It'll become routine as it becomes unexamined. Just like the atrocities of the IOF are in Israel.
