She somehow survived near brain-death from a neurotoxin. She was blinded from a 107 degree fever but regained her sight. She's not going to have any long-term issues from this whole ordeal. She seized for almost an hour on Sunday night along with the fever.

So glad she made it. Her brother didn't, unfortunately. He seized for four hours and the vets couldn't get it to stop. We had to put him to sleep. He went peacefully and wasn't in pain or distress in the end

Cyanobacteria?

I almost lost a dog to it. One single lap of water out of a puddle, and I didn't put two and two together until the next day. Lethality is inevitable within as soon as 45 minutes. I now carry peroxide (to induce vomiting,) and charcoal which absorbs toxins so they aren't uptaken by the body, with something like peanut butter to get the dog to eat either or.

We think it was rat poison. Rosie had some clotting issues that indicate it. I don't think it was an intentional poisoning but was just them finding something contaminated with it in the yard.
