By the time I recover from my lifetime of horror I'll be like 40. I'm willing to accept I will never really be a normal human again after going through all this shit.

It's like a psychological experiment: What happens to the human brain once it fully develops, having never known anything except suffering with momentary refuges of de-realized non-feeling?

I hope the experience is validating even if it may be awkward.

I don't know how this stuff works though.

I mean obviously its sad to have missed out so much in my actual twenties, but on the other hand that gives me so much more appreciation for being able to relive that. The only real downside is I have the back of a 30yo which does not always work well with the lifestyle of a 20yo 😭

I get that to some extent. By that I mean feelings of missing out or something. I have a few long-term illnesses, and associated regrets.
