Op notes: not going to lie, this can be a way whenever they will accept ATProto, but them adopting PolyProto may be good enough for me |

[POST] I don't know enough about federation protocols to be overjoyed or enraged! (Anyone have thoughts?) I mean, I guess no Activity Pub means it can't talk with Piefed and friends... but is a product like Fluxer even a good fit for Piefed/Lemmy style apps? |

[POST] I don't know enough about federation protocols to be overjoyed or enraged! (Anyone have thoughts?) I mean, I guess no Activity Pub means it can't talk with Piefed and friends... but is a product like Fluxer even a good fit for Piefed/Lemmy style apps?
My understanding from comments on a similar post is that this protocol is better suited to a discord style service. So while it won’t be able to communicate with Activity Pub services it will operate better for its use case. That’s only my surface level understanding of it though. |
