That reminds me. I keep thinking there has got to be something to fit this group about Día de los Muertos. There's so much amazing art around it!

But even though I can find amazing art, everything is either not an ad, or not vintage, or both. Anyway, it isn't too much celebrated where I live so I bet someone from Mexico or maybe SoCal could do it better.

I can find loads of current/ recent stuff (especially Cerveza Victoria & La Costeña), but I can't seem to find online any still/print día de muertos ads from before ~2015 (I can find a few TV spots from the 2000s), & I don't know if that's my lack of search skills or it was just less exploited commercially in the past.

My experience exactly!

I do have a postal stamp but I guess it's not quite vintage and it looks in bad shape.

I was surprised some months ago to get a print invitation to one of these events in a metro station in Mexico City. It really felt inviting, since most of these are centralized in one or two local arenas that run a monopoly on wrestling shows. I love it when I get something like this, maybe because this is the only social network I use and people usually focus on internet invitations nowadays, neglecting the personal, physical, close invitation.
