I think that the previous owner of my house went to the Sluggo school of home repair. They even figured out how to simply paint over a hole in the wall that was almost an inch across. |

That’s easy. You just stuff some mashed potatoes in there, lick it flat, then paint. |

Incidentally, that technique works in the bedroom as well |
