It lets me, who used to be very distant from it, now get right in the weeds,

he's cosplaying as a valuable contributor when he was probably the person telling the devs to work on his features instead of the thousands of bugs.

While there is some truth in what he is saying, I somehow doubt he is actually right in the weeds.
