Is it starting?

What I find fun is that the mainstream financial news feed I get is eternally "umm actually it is good" no matter what. Number goes up? Good. Number goes down "well if you (insert some crazy convoluted criteria and arbitrary time scale), you'll see it's on track to immediately jump". One source that said "yeah September was off, but that just means October will knock it out of the park" is now having to post that it really is going to rocket off in November since October isn't so hot...

Resulting in funny things like how this week a lot of tech companies are down, some over 20% down, and the AI "explanation" includes a "but as an AI company, they are fully expected to quickly recover and reach new highs".
