No way that Araki went that hard on a villain of the week. Oyecomova is a Neapolitan terrorist (which btw means Italy is still divided in 1891) who seeks to hunt and kill Gyro.

He has golden ratio curls and his ability is a pain in the butt to counter. How Gyro and Johnny overcame him is very creative. The clocks appear to be a Salvador Dali reference and when the steel balls finally hit his face, it turned to a Picasso portrait.

I'm finding it very odd that there is an astounding lack of winchester leveractions. heck, the model 1888 is one of their most famous versions, and was literally "everywhere* in this era.

I've just caught up with this season's episodes, and as always, the battles-of-the-week are a treat!

I thought it was stretching credulity to have spider webs (how'd he find those in the smoke?) attached to Johnny's fingernail spinny things and not rip apart or end up in a tangled mess.

But it's rewarding to see Oye's face mangled like that.

At some level I believe it's a Looney Toons style of violence as opposed to an accurate depiction of physical damage inflicted on him.

I was also enjoying the conceit of nobody knowing what Stands are, then f*cking Cowboy Tim has to say it.

That's in the manga. The first chapters tried to frame SBR as completely separate from JoJo.
