So EA was the publisher for Lionhead for the first two, and likely had 3 as right to first refusal to publish as part of their contract. But Lionhead was bought by Microsoft, so they'd likely have the rights to anything not already contracted to another company

Yeah I'm too old to be excited about games, but at my age it feels like I see a new game coming soon then by the time I pick it up everyone is bored of it.

That said I'd love to play a new black and white, even a remaster. I didn't play it much (believe I played 2) but what I did was so amusing.

Figured I'd add this old penny arcade comic about it, does get the feeling of managing your creature. Took me like 4 searches to figure it out.
