Pretty good, I get to go home after being at work for three weeks.
Sadly my wife will be away visiting her folks abroad but that means quality time with the kids, going to take them climbing and rewatch 'over the garden wall'.
It's going to be a hell of a lot better than the last few weeks.

Ugh. I've started to resent my classes. I'm glad its only at the end here, at my last semester, but I seriously need a break. And I need to get away from my regularly scheduled TTRPG groups too. And I'm coming to terms with the fact that, in spite of all of that, my most recent foray into romance has made me actually want to talk to people again - or more specifically, I want other people to talk to me.

I have a burning desire to retreat from society for a few months and emerge from the underbrush an entirely new kind of creature. I can feel it straining to be free.

Tired already just thinking about my work schedule, but I'm excited to hang out with someone I'm into on Wednesday

Solemn. Curious about how I'll do at work. Maybe it's time to ask for 25% sick leave again. A little excited to see who among my colleagues will ask me to digitize their old video and/or audio tapes.

The week has started and so has work. I have to be cautious with my hand this week as the pins inserted to hold the bones together are starting to rupture through the skin, and once that begins, we may need to remove the pins before the bones have healed.

Anxious. Work has been slow for 2 months. It is now not at all slow, and it is stuff I don’t love doing, so it’s going to be a really difficult transition.

Changing meds is really destabilising. How hopeful are you for the new meds?

It’s normal for the kind of work I do. I deal with it. I’ve been off meds for a few months because side effects aren’t super compatible with vacation but now I'm back on them and it helps.

Good! Im stoked for Friday or Saturday cause I might see this girl I met from Slovakia.

I’ll be losing my insurance at the beginning of the year thanks to the fascist’s new changes to Medicaid. So, it’s going to be a rough few months learning how to not only titrate off the meds, but to live without therapy also.

Have too much fun, man. I hope your kiddos have a ton of fun and regail your wife with all the cool stuff they did with their dad.
