Legitimately so many other things worth voting for this season. It might be the last election the US has for a while.

Elections are broken anyway. US needs reform which can produce the change the country needs for a safe and secure society.

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse actually seems to be very keen on climate.

The greatest existential threats to life is the ongoing climate catastrophe, nuclear weans, and now AI.

I have 0 candidates on my ballot who have a platform that includes dismantling the nuclear warheads.

I have 0 candidates on my ballot who say they'll work to ban carbon, or establish a carbon tax to rapidly decarbonize. Best I got is "we'll be 100% renewable by 2040" but with no practical plan to achieve it.

I have no candidates on my ballot that say they'll establish laws banning the use of AI by police, military, or other government or regulated industries (banks, insurance, etc). Only some focus on the data centers, but not the use of the dangerous tech.

And I live in a district with Rank Choice voting with many write in candidates. It seems the good potential candidates just have no hope to try to run :(
