Ok, not really baking but it's so good I decided to share it.

Ingredients

flour...300 g

egg yolks...4

powdered sugar...1 spoon

sour cream (12% or 18%)...5 spoons

salt...1 pinch

alcohol...2 spoons

Steps

Mix everything to form the dough. Work it for about 5 minutes, it should be quite dense. (I've heard that the alcohol is so that they don't absorb oil when frying. No idea if that's true but I always add it, usually some sort of vodka)

Now roll it out a bit, fold it, then roll it out again. The idea is to pack as much air into it as possible. Do it for about 10-15 minutes.

Divide the dough into smaller portions and roll it out. Roll it out real thin. Like... real think. As thin as possible. When you see it's becoming transparent - that's a good start, keep rolling.

Once rolled out, cut it like this:

Than you take each part and put one end through the hole in the middle:

Fry it. The oil has to be deep enough for it to float. Can be done in a pot or frying pan. You will see when they are ready. It takes only a moment. When you take them out put them on some paper towels so they can absorb the extra oil.

Now put them in batches into a plastic bag, add powdered sugar, inflate it and move it around so the sugar covers them evenly.

Enjoy.
