She was not shoplifting. A white lady thought she was and called the police.

The baby was not accidentally shot as the cop fired blindly into the car. His mother held him up to show the cop pointing a gun that there was a baby with her. The cop shot the baby being held up, like he was shooting a clay pigeon.
