This has been the case for as long as I can remember. This was how newspapers worked when they were actually paper. Wealthy people got the big papers and regular people got the local town. |

What’s funny is, the author probably chose $150k as the cutoff for “rich” because it’s quite close to the top 25% of households. A household with an income of $150k+ is in the top 27.6% of U.S. households according to 2025 census information if I copied and pasted right. |
