The copium in the American press is hilarious. Malls, hotels, resorts, etc. all over the tourist hotspots in the USA are empty and sad husks with companies laying off staff or shutting down all over.

But yes, report on the stupid people who still travel to the USA, not the rest of Canadians who are flatly refusing to go.

CNN: there are stupid people in Canada just like there are stupid people in the USA. They're the ones going to your country. The difference is that the proportion is far smaller, hence the crisis mode all across your tourist industry. Instead of huffing copium, how about you report the thing Americans need to know: "America First" has damaged the USA, likely beyond repair in the short term. It will take generational effort for the USA to regain what it lost over the Trump years.

Damn, I really didn't need reminding of that terrible song.

The US has fantastic scenery, and one day I'd love to return (been around the whole area west of the Rockies a little bit of the east), and take my family who havent been but not until they've gutted the country of the Christo-Fascist elements.
