Yeah I agree with that. I think ideally the real "balance" is going to swing in wildly different directions depending on the instance and what kind of experience it wants to provide.

I am mostly consumer of these subs and I don't have an interest in changing this. I also have no ideology behind this. If the stuff I need is on reddit, I'll simply keep using reddit for these things as long as reddit works. Once they lock me out, I am out.
