Star Wars has had great success with smaller, more creative games, and Lucasfilm VP thinks this is the best path forward.

So... Galactic Racer is $60, and they're saying it's a "smaller" game. So they're charging more for less. Got it.

That's the gist, but I think spending a bit less on game development bodes well for the industry as a whole. The trend has gone way too far in that direction.

I agree with that but I as a consumer would expect the price to be lower as a result.

That's why I'm more than happy to support devs like Team Cherry. They put in crazy amounts of work and they're not treating video games as a get rich quick scheme.

Only Star Citizen's developer CIG, has sufficient expertise to make a quad A game.
