It's pathetic he can't understand the difference between people who seperated themselves from their abusers speaking out (ie. Mary Trump) vs directly platforming the said abusers. But also somehow exactly par for the course for these swine.

Maybe Vance is seeking mockery of his own mother

The party is led by a pedophile rapist, don't be surprised when accesories to pedophile rapists start showing up.

Vance's whole 'values' issue has been about failures of American parenting and absent fathers. Vance's background and Acton's background have some parallels; they both overcame traumatic childhoods and became successful, prominent adults.

If Vance actually held the principles he claims, he would be hailing Acton as an American success story that teaches the value of determination, grit, optimism, and hard work.

But he's not doing that.
