Early 60s era neo-noir movie about the Italian mob. Salvatore Giordano (Henry Silva) is rescued by an exiled American named Johnny Colini (Marc Lawrence), who grooms and rebrands him as Johnny Cool, with the intent to use him as a killer, to enact revenge on his enemies in the US. Johnny Cool eventually meets Darien "Dare" Guinness (Elizabeth Montgomery, star of the TV show Bewitched), who becomes his accomplice. Since this is a Hayes Code era movie, Johnny Cool eventually meets his downfall because there was a rule against letting the violent criminals go unpunished.

Also features Telly Savalas from before he started shaving his head, and Sammy Davis Jr. has maybe one scene. The soundtrack is jazz, as was the style at the time. It's a very cool flick if you're into the movies of this era.
