Get a bunch of these, attach a data uplink/downlink to a helicopter for interceptor pilots to maintain connection from a remote/semiremote location.... and go to town... There is your affordable fast flying bomb solution. I don't claim to know the specifics of how these pieces fit together, that is kept obscured on purpose by the people doing/testing this right, but it is easy to see the basic idea here.

The biggest hard limiting factor for a propeller interceptor drone meant to take down a rocket/jet powered drone is the total amount of newtons of force it takes to get the interceptor up to altitude and speed limits the capabilities of the interceptor especially in terms of range. This is where the helicopter comes in, it doesn't have to be as fast as the jet/rocket drone, it just has to be able to detect and track it and launch interceptors at a kinetic and potential energy frame of reference that advantages their intercepting vector.... then the electricity demand of speeding up from helicopter speeds to a much higher sprint speed can be treated more like a cheetah sprinting than a rocket launch starting from the bottom of a gravity well...

This general system of interception is a great example of how cost of interception calculations are more complex than just comparing one tool to another outside of their context.
