Like things that are oddly very satisfying?

horking a loogie

I dont know the proper term for this but its basically when you're sick and you have muscous and you like sort of snort then the huge "loogie" ends up in your mouth somehow and then spitting that out in a way you can examine the specimen.

Also when you have a horrible (productive) cough and you finally cough/hork up a massive loogie that was like in your throat or diaphragm or whatever

When you put a cotton swab in your ear and scrape it around a bit to get the wax out. That shit is a delight.

All kinds of physical sensations work like that.

Pooping out an extra firm poop after having trouble. The pee after you've had to hold it in forever. Finally scratching an itch after a delay. There's something about our brains that hates delaying gratification, so when it happens, we get that dopamine hit a lithe harder. Same with your example; a delay of relief followed by the relief of both the original sensation and that of struggling with it. That one-two punch is like a drug. Or a mini orgasm, depending on ones wiring.

Side note to that, I've never run across "horking". I've seen hawking, hocking, and even hacking, but never horking. I like it though!

It's even better with keys. You get to feel like Eskimo brothers with your house, car, and place of work.

Peeing when you have drank a lot of liquid.

I typically drink at least 100 ounces of liquid a day, and sometimes when it hits, I'll just like, go to the bathroom and start frying bacon.

I wouldn't say it feels good, but, like, the relief is palpable.

I too have been sick for days and have been enjoying my loogies. Bonus that they usually mark the end of the illness, at least for me.

In my personal opinion, hawking is for things leaving your mouth like loogies, while horking is for things going in, like food.

Example sentence:
I'll be right there let me just hork down this sandwich real quick

Or

They're horking down lunch cause they're in a hurry

Frying bacon is where you're pissing so hard that the water sounds like bacon in a hot skillet.
