New research from Israeli historian Avi Shlaim, a former Oxford professor, reveals that Zionist agents bombed Jewish sites in Baghdad in 1950 and 1951. The goal was to terrorize the Jewish community and force them to move to Israel. This was a false flag operation.

The key operative was Yusef Basri, a Zionist intelligence agent. He was directed by Meir Max Bineth, an Israeli intelligence officer based in Tehran. Bineth gave the order to terrorize and not to kill. Basri was convicted and executed by Iraqi authorities. Bineth later committed suicide after being arrested for his role in the Lavon Affair, another false flag operation in Egypt.

Five bombs exploded in Jewish cafes, car dealerships, and a synagogue. The only bombing that killed Jews was carried out by a Muslim Arab, according to Shlaim's source. The other bombings were designed to create fear and panic, to accelerate the mass emigration of 125,000 Iraqi Jews to Israel.

This was not a rescue mission. It was a campaign of terror against a Jewish community. The Zionist movement used violence against its own people to build a state. These Arab Jews were then marginalized in Israel, seen as backward and treated as second-class citizens.

The operation was part of a pattern. The Lavon Affair in Egypt, a similar false flag operation, was another example. Max Bineth was the link between the two. Both operations used Jews as expendable tools for political goals.
