Similar to how NASA has worked with SpaceX to launch starlink, i'm assuming ESA's major plan is to launch an independent network of satellites to replace the need for starlink, considering the recent Fandango with Musk/Trump limiting access to that network. I'm assuming this was a hot topic at the conference. I see AI in the title. You could actually use an algorithm to have satellites directly orbit starlink satellites, thus keeping more of our night sky clear. Also, launches are already getting tough because of all the crap in orbit. |
