I'm apparently the outlier grabbing 6 cups of cold black coffee in a giant glass and guzzling it in 45 minutes before work. I only add something on holidays.

The “average” American apparently consume about 3800 kcal a day which is insane; calorie dense drinks go a long way to hitting that number.

Hot maybe relative to ice cream. I think the majority of coffee drinks, or at least revenue at Starbucks, comes from their cold drinks.
